your personal color analysis
A personal color analysis is very individualized and fine tuned based on a series of scientific tests using hand boards and drapes. It is not possible to accurately determine a persons tone simply by looking at her or having her answer questions about her color preferences or favorite colors. There are thousands of colors, and some might appear to be the same, but their visual effect on us can be dramatically different.
what to expect at your personal color analysis
A Personal Color Analysis at Indigo Tones usually requires at least an hour and a half and sometimes two hours to complete. During the analysis, you will be asked to remove eyeglasses and cosmetics, and to wear a neutral gray cape and cap (if your hair has been color treated). While adding hair color to our natural color can be a wonderful thing, if the tones are not in complete harmony with your natural coloring, it can throw off the results of the analysis.
When the analysis is complete, I recommend the right tones and shades for hair color and cosmetics. My goal is to help you look natural and make the most of your unique features. Cosmetics are the finishing touch on a pulled together look, and colors that are in harmony with your natural coloring will make you look radiant without drawing attention to the cosmetics. I ask you to bring your cosmetics with you and we will go through them together to figure out which ones work well for you.
